About
As a senior advisor and principal at BEW, my primary focus is working closely with clients and mentoring our younger advisors. I take pride in helping clients reduce their financial stress by breaking down complicated financial concepts and advising them on the best course of action. Over the past 37 years, the most rewarding part of my work has been building trust with clients, guiding them through both good times and challenges, and helping them achieve their goals.
I firmly believe that everyone has a unique story worth hearing. Each client’s fears and desires are different, and understanding them begins with listening. At BEW, we prioritize financial planning before investing — period. While exceptional service can feel rare in our world, we’re committed to being there for our clients with promptness, clarity, and compassion.
I understand, firsthand, how challenging it can be to navigate the financial world. I’ve always been the “money guy” in my family. After earning my finance degree from Auburn University (AKA the Harvard of the South), my father handed me my grandmother’s broker statement and asked, “Does this look right to you?” That moment sparked my curiosity and drove me to learn more about investing, eventually leading me to a career in financial planning.
Outside of work, you’ll often find me on the road in my trusty Ford F150, which has logged more than 150,000 miles. It’s taken me to the mountains for biking, the ocean for stand-up paddleboard surfing, and to church every week with my family.
